RE: narcos wave 3 heater bracket

I like your mounting system with the ability to direct the heat where you need it.

RE: Outfitter vs Four Wheel Camper question

Take off your AC and replace with a vent. Way cheaper than trading. A 100LB AC could cause a lot of sway for your set up. Maybe add on to your spring pack, bolth are still cheaper than trading.

RE: Box wine.... What do you think?

One of your local stores should have one of these wine saver. If you are only having a few glasses a week, this should maintain the freshness for that time. Give you a chance to try other wines instead of the same wine for weeks. Most box wines are 5 liter size, that would last a while at 3 or 4 glasses a week. Most of the box wines are good, I just enjoy more variaty.

RE: Your Favorite Boondocking Pics

Man those last two photos just put me over the edge. My deer hunt is coming up and i can not wait any longer.
You NM guys i spend alot of time at the campground just before you enter into Luna NM.
The elk were sounding off while I was there. My wife got a kick from that being the first time she ever heard the bugle. Being in the clouds was a nice touch to the experince.
Next summer I plan to go into the Alpine area, Black River, Bear Lake, or the Arizona side of the Rim.

RE: Have you ever had or heard of a TearDrop Camper?

I remember a logo on the front but not the shape of it. All the information was on the ID plate above the right tail light. It read 2560 dry weight made somewhere in California. Santa Rosa?

RE: Odd ball Winterizing Tricks and Tips

I pull my batteries and propane tanks out, blow out the water, drain the hot water tank, and throw a small space heater in and set it to around 52 degrees. I haven't had to put any antifreeze in the lines to this point since the tanks are heated/insulated and I run the space heater all winter.
I fill my propane tanks and store in the garage. I keep the batteries on trickle charge also in the garage. If we have an emergency, those items can be quickly installed and I have a refuge: just in case.
Sometime this winter/spring, I will replace my inverter to one that better keeps a charge on the batteries. The one I have now will cook them if I leave it plugged in all winter with the batteries installed.
I have head others here say they put dryer sheets in their rigs. I will be doing the same this year. Makes sense.
I store the propane tanks outside.

RE: Interior night lights

Matho, how long does that light stay on once motion activated? Looks like a good closet light as well if it goes off in a few minutes.
It will stay on as long as there is motion. The light will go out 5 seconds after no motion is detected. Blue light is dark enough to keep my night vision. There is a light detection feature that allows for it to be on in the day and not activate. It can be set for use and forget it until departure.
